How to Consign your Wedding Items:

 

We are currently accepting wedding items.  We accept dresses no older than 5 years old.

 

What we ACCEPT:

 

·        Bridal Gowns – 5 years and newer          

·        Veils and Headpieces

·        Bridesmaid dresses

·        Mother of the bride dresses

·        Flower girl dresses

·        Bridal accessories

·        Evening Gowns

·        Cocktail dresses

·        Shawls and Purses

·        Bridal Shoes

 

POLICY:

 

·        We accept new (never worn) and like new items

·        How is price determined?

1.       Original cost of item

2.    Style

3.    Age

4.      Condition

 

·        The price is usually 25-40% less than what you originally paid.  (Taxes & shipping you paid on the dress originally are not factored into this cost.)

 

·        If you have a receipt:

 

Please forward a copy to us either by email, mail or fax.  We will deduct 30% off the original price.

 

If the dress is brand new – we will deduct 25% off the original price.

 

·        If you do not have a receipt:

 

We will determine cost.  There is no exception to this.

 

·        If items do not sell after 90 days a 10% discount will be offered for 30 days.  After 30 days, the price will go back to the original price and the 90 days will start over again.

 

·        Consignors receive 50% of the sale price.  Once your item/items have been sold, A Beautiful Bride will issue payment via Paypal to the consignor.  This sale price is less taxes and shipping

 

*TO HELP YOUR DRESSES SELL*

 

1.       Please have dresses dry-cleaned if they have been worn.

2.    If you have a catalog or magazine picture, please scan into email to our email address.  If you do not have a scanner, you may mail it to us.  We will return your pictures to you.

3.    Please submit current digital pictures of your dresses or wedding items.  If you do not have access to a digital camera you may opt to send your wedding items to A Beautiful Bride.  We will place dresses on a mannequin for photographing.  Our environment is smoke-free.  Your wedding items will be stored in a plastic or vinyl bag/s/bin/s until they are sold (this keeps shipping costs down for both).

 

*DRESSES ONLY* - We will sell your dresses on our online store, via eBay once a month and if in possession of A Beautiful Bride, through bridal shows we attend.

 

If you are ready to sell your items, please complete, sign and submit the CONSIGNMENT FORM.  We must receive this before your items will be available online.
